Richard Branson was born on July 18, 1950 in BlackHeath, London. He was educated at Stowe School until the age of 16 and dropped out to start his new magazine called “Student” sold $8,000 worth of advertising and launched with $50,000 copies. After a while he opened his first charity, “Student Valley Centre”. At 17 he started his first record business and it traveled around the English Channel and he sold them off the boot of his car or off a record mail in 1970. Trading in the name “Virgin” he sold records considerably. Eventually started his record business at 27 in Oxford Street in London and after a while he launched his record label “Virgin Records” he earned so much money to buy his own record shop and buy a country estate. At the age of 27 he signed to a new band called "Sex Pistols" to Virgin. In 1984 he started his first airline indurstry called, "Virgin Atlantic Airways" which has become the second largest English long haul international airline.
